Sony is once again this year running its Days of Play promotion to celebrate "the passionate PlayStation community." As with any promotion it means deals, and this year Sony is offering up not just lower pricing but a limited edition PS4 console.

Days of Play will run for 11 days between June 8-18 offering a range of deals across the US and Canada in conjunction with retailers. The most visually-appealing of those deals is the Days of Play Limited Edition PS4 (pictured above). It still costs $299.99, but comes in a unique blue color with gold PlayStation symbols detail on the side. It is also accompanied by a matching DualShock 4 controller.

For anyone eager to take full advantage of their 4K television, Sony is also reducing the price of the Jet Black PS4 Pro by $50 to just $349.99. If you need a new or extra DualShock 4 wireless controller, then you'll be pleased to hear the usual $59.99 price is being reduced to $39.99.

PlayStation VR bundles will be offered from $199.99, a two-pack of PlayStation Move controllers drops to $79.99, and the PlayStation VR Aim controller will be offered for $49.99, but only in the US.

As for games, there's a number of tempting price drops, including three VR titles:

It's clearly no coincidence the promotion is live while E3 is going on in Los Angeles (June 12-14). Sony can show off everything new coming to PS4 while pointing out how cheap it is to pick up a PS4 Pro and VR kit right now.
