Pros & Cons

MLB SlugFest 2003 Specs

ESRB Rating: E for Everybody
Genre: Sports
Platform: GameCube
Platform: PlayStation 2
Platform: Xbox

It's not very realistic, but MLB SlugFest 2003 is a lot of fun to play. This humorous baseball game includes everything from beanballs to fistfights in the base path. Players perform unbelievable feats of athleticism, including turbo-powered throws; running, acrobatic diving catches; and literally smoking homeruns. The soundtrack, featuring Dry Kill Logic and Curve, is almost as hot as the action. But the lack of user-controlled replay detracts from this game's value (as is the case for all of the Midway "adrenaline" titles).
