Buying Guide: Slacker Mobile Radio

Despite its name, Slacker has been busy lately. The streaming Internet radio company has finally released an app to let iPhone and iPod touch users stream highly customized, free Slacker Internet radio stations. This release comes a mere week after the debut of Slacker for BlackBerry, but several months after competitor Pandora Radio introduced its iPhone app. Currently in version 2.0, Pandora has recently signed up its two-millionth iPhone user, so Slacker has some catching up to do. Sure, Slacker Mobile Radio has some limitations, but if you're a Slacker Radio lover, this new iPhone app is a fun way to take your favorite stations with you. And since it's free, you can take it for a spin even if you're not a fan.
