Norton Account
Long-time Norton users are already familiar with the Norton Account, used to manage subscriptions. You access your Norton One subscription by logging in to the familiar Norton Account.
Virus Protection Assurance
On the main welcome screen, Norton One invites you to contact support if you have the slightest worry that a virus might be present on your computer. Support agents will remotely check the system and deal with any found malware.
Hi Neil
At startup the tiny Norton One client offers a reminder of your membership. This popup reminder includes a link to get support for any issues with security or your Norton One installation.
Support Options
Live Chat support is especially effective, since you can invite the support agent to remotely view and fix problems. If you prefer a phone conversation, instant callback means you'll never have to sit around waiting on hold.
Live Chat Support
Using live chat support is like having an instant message conversation. You interact directly with a support agent who can, if necessary, remotely diagnose and fix problems.
Add a Device
Adding Norton One protection to a device is simple. If you've logged in from the device, one click starts an automated setup process. If not, you select the device type and send an email with a setup link to an account associated with that device.
Default Protection
After the tiny Norton One client installs, it immediately goes about installing the default protection for the type of device you chose.
No License Key
Product activation is automatic when Norton One handles the installation; there's no need to type in a lengthy product key.
Congratulations
On completing the installation, Norton One pops up with an offer to visit the Norton One portal online.
Norton Mobile Security
If the device to be protected is an Android smartphone or tablet, Norton One installs Norton Mobile Security for protection.
Device View
From the online portal you can view all of your protected devices and products, and even install available Norton products to upgrade or extend protection.
Device Overview
This view simply displays all the devices you've registered to your Norton Account, with a red icon for those that need attention.
Emailed Setup
When you choose to protect a system other than the one from which you've logged in to Norton One, the email account associated with that system receives an email message like this one, with a link to set up protection.
