Twitter Blue, the company's first subscription offering, is rolling out now in Australia and Canada, where paying customers can finally undo tweets. Yes, that's right, the microblogging platform is making it easier to revise or remove a message before it goes live.

Made a typo? Forgot to tag someone? Decide a total rewrite is in order? With Undo Tweet, you have up to 30 seconds to cancel a post before it hits your timeline. As an alternative, aubscribers can save time and energy by simply previewing what the tweet will look like before sending it.

"We've heard from the people that use Twitter a lot … that we don't always build power features that meet their needs," product managers Sara Beykpour and Smita Mittal Gupta wrote in a blog announcement. "We took this feedback to heart, and are developing and iterating upon a solution that will give the people who use Twitter the most what they are looking for: access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level."

That includes new Bookmark Folders, where users can organize and manage saved tweets in files like "Memes," "Entertainment," and "To buy." Reader Mode, meanwhile, promises "a more beautiful reading experience by getting rid of the noise," the blog said. Keep up with long threads by turning them from blocky segments into a flowing page of text.

Additional amenities include customizable home screen icons and app color schemes, as well as access to dedicated subscription customer support. And you (i.e. select users in specific countries) can get it all for a monthly cost of $3.49 CAD or $4.49 AUD. There is no word yet on a US rollout or pricing (but, based on those numbers, fees could land anywhere between $2.50 and $4).

"And for those wondering, no, a free Twitter is not going away, and never will," according to the blog. "This subscription offering is simply meant to add enhanced and complementary features to the already existing Twitter experience for those who want it."
