Twitter's Clubhouse-esque platform Spaces is rolling out to desktop users as well as now being available using a smartphone web browser.

Visit Twitter.com on a computer, tablet, or smartphone to join live audio conversations—previously restricted to the social network's iOS and Android apps. And while the company recently opened Spaces to all accounts with 600 or more followers, the program is still going through some growing pains. Most notably, as a Twitter spokesperson told The Verge: You can join web-based Spaces, but can't yet host them yourself.

The team is currently focused on developing several new features, including the ability to set reminders for scheduled spaces, a UI that adapts to screen size, and transcription services. "We want to learn from your experience, and hear your feedback," according to a Wednesday tweet. "Let us know what you think."

Introduced in December for a handful of iPhone owners and expanded to Android beta testers in March, the Clubhouse competitor is "focused on the intimacy of the human voice," and allows people more than 280 characters to engage. Twitter recently teased upcoming features like ticketed Spaces (hosts can limit groups and earn revenue), reminders, co-hosting, better accessibility, and more ways to discover new Spaces.
