The last time Samsung held an Unpacked event was back in February where we got our first glimpse of the Galaxy Buds+ and the Galaxy S20 5G phones. Now the invites have gone out for the next Galaxy Unpacked, which will be held on Aug. 5 in virtual form.

The invitation video included below is only a few seconds long and reveals very little. Samsung's description accompanying the video doesn't reveal much more, stating, "The desire to make meaningful connections and to stay productive are constants in a world of change. Our mobile devices need to be ready to help us stay in touch with what matters most and give us new ways to work and play."

What we are expecting is an official reveal of the Galaxy Note 20, which has been having details leak since May and is expected to include both 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch Super AMOLED display options. The copper color used in the teaser video also matches the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that appeared on Samsung Russia briefly earlier this month.

The other big reveal is expected to be Samsung's second attempt at the Galaxy Fold, which may feature next-gen flexible glass and hopefully is a much more durable device. A drastic reduction in price would also be preferable.

As with most announcements and events in 2020, Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2020 will be an online event available to stream live. We'll be in virtual attendance and ready to cover whatever products and surprises Samsung decides to spring on us.
