The PlayStation 5 is a huge games console and the Xbox Series X, although smaller, certainly isn't small. So when it comes time to invest in a new TV bench or media cabinet, it's important to know if they are big enough for these new consoles. Don't worry, though, Ikea has your back.

As The Verge reports, Ikea has introduced mock versions of the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles to its retail stores. The boxes are the same size as Sony's and Microsoft's consoles, but without any of the weight, meaning it should be easy to transport them between the different pieces of media furniture to see how ridiculous, or not, the latest consoles look.

Reddit user TomaccoTastesLikeGma posted a photo of the lookalike boxes, revealing Ikea wrote a message on the side of the mock PS5 which reads, "Which IKEA media storage unit will be able to fit my new, meme-ishly oversized, gaming console?

The new Xbox and PlayStation both require good airflow in order to function at their full potential, so placing them inside a media cabinet is not advised. The only question you should really be asking when picking new furniture is: Do I want my console to be vertical or horizontal?
