CDS highlights found search terms in user-definable colors; you can jump to the next occurrence of a term in the preview pane by clicking a button or pressing a key combination.

CDS Indexing Complete

If you wish, you can get a detailed status view while CDS is indexing your files, emails, etc.

CDS Deskbar

The optional CDS deskbar installs right in the Windows taskbar; you can also invoke CDS by double-clicking its icon in the system tray.

CDS Main Search with Floater

The search window in CDS offers filmstrip-style preview for pictures and displays detailed information in a floating window.

CDS Email Options

CDS identifies which of its supported email clients are installed and lets you pick and choose the folders to be indexed.

CDS File Options

You can specify the folders on local or remote drives that CDS should index, and optionally limit indexing to specific file types on a per-folder basis.

CDS Favorites and History Options

CDS can index browser favorites and history for Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, or Netscape.

CDS Integration Options

The CDS deskbar is optional, and can be configured using the Integration tab in the Options dialog.

CDS Index Update Options

CDS indexes emails and documents when they're changed and also refreshes its indexes on a schedule; you can configure it to throttle down indexing when the computer is busy.

CDS Advanced Options

Using the Advanced Options tab you can configure CDS to index all files by name, size, date/time and path, regardless of file type.
