Pros & Cons

The Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU is a power supply designed for use with enthusiast and higher-end gaming systems.

It offers a maximum output of 850 watts, and has a single +12V rail the company promises provides "crisp, clean power delivery," and "can handle 18 amps of overload before a safety shutdown occurs." This PSU has also received 80 PLUS Bronze certification, which means it's 80 percent efficient at any load between 20 and 100 percent.

A 140mm ball bearing fan provides cooling for the Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU and a special silicon pad reduces vibrations and noise while increasing airflow and cooling.

Modular in design, the Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU comes equipped with a wide variety of cables needed for just about any high-level build, including those using Nvidia Scalable Link Interface or AMD CrossFireX multi-card setups. These cables include the following: one main power connector (20+4 pin), one 12V connector (8+4 pin), seven SATA, seven four-pin Molex, one floppy, and four PCI Express (PCIe) connectors.
