Pros & Cons

The Thermaltake TR2 TRX-650M ($99.99 list) is a power supply designed for use with enthusiast and higher-end gaming systems.

It offers a maximum output of 650 watts, and has a single +12V rail the company promises provides "reliable and robust power delivery." This PSU has also received 80 PLUS Bronze certification, which means it's 80 percent efficient at any load between 20 and 100 percent.

A 140mm ball bearing fan provides cooling for the Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU and a special silicon pad reduces vibrations and noise while increasing airflow and cooling.

Modular in design, the Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU comes equipped with a wide variety of cables needed for just about any high-level build, including those using Nvidia Scalable Link Interface or AMD CrossFireX multicard setups. These cables include the following: one main power connector (20+4 pin), one 12V connector (4+4 pin), six SATA, six four-pin Molex, one floppy, and four PCI Express (PCIe) connectors.

The Thermaltake TR2 TRX-650M comes with a five-year parts-and-labor limited warranty.
