When you first start PhotoPlus, the Startup Wizard offers tutorial videos and other helps.

PhotoPlus's Organizer window doesn't show much about the photo selected unles you switch the left panel to Metadata.

When you start editing a raw camera file, this dialog offers the same options as the PhotoFix dialog, in some cases more than what you'll find in the actual photo editing interface.

This popular effect can give a photo a miniaturized look, but the brightness adjustment for this in PhotoPlus wasn't subtle enough.

In either the Raw Import or PhotoFix window, you can select similar areas of a photo using this excellent new edge-detecting Create Mash tool, and then just apply adjustments to the selected area.

PhotoPlus Organizer can show a map of where your photos were taken based on embedded GPS data. You can also drag a photo's thumbnail onto the map to add a geo-tag, but there's no ability to import a geo-tracking file like GPX, which smart phone apps can generate.

PhotoPlus offers a wealth of optical and artistic image effects.

You can get a helpful split view when editing. Here, we've applied noise reduction to the right side.
