New Facebook mobile photo options

Facebook is currently rolling out a new update to iOS devices (6.1.1) that gives users more functionality with viewing photos in their news feed. Previously, all you could do was like, comment, or tag friends in photos. Now, users can actually re-share photos found in their news feed. If you are so inclined, you can quickly make a photo in your news feed your profile photo.

Facebook is still looking to move in on Foursquare's territory, so it's making adding places to check-in even smoother, in addition to faster events load times...a jab at Google+ Events? (Probably not).

If you haven't noticed, Facebook is heavily focused on mobile, since a majority of Facebook users interact on their mobile devices. Look forward to even more tweaks as the number #1 social platform looks to be your first place to go on your smartphone as well as the web.
