Paramount+ is making it easier for subscribers to stream their favorite content through curated stations.

The platform this week introduced Live Channels, which sorts popular shows and movies into themed collections like Kids & Family Fun, Crime & Justice, and Reality TV: Competitions.

The "thoughtfully programmed channels," according to parent company ViacomCBS, highlight the platform's "diversity and depth" of content while minimizing search time and fostering discovery of new programming.

Initial channels include everything from 24/7 Laughs and Black Voices to History & Undiscovered and TV Classics. There's something for everyone, whether you're into adult animation (think Beavis and Butt-Head and Daria), nostalgic hits (Cheers, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Wings), all-day drama (The Twilight Zone and Touched By an Angel), or preschool programming (Blue's Clues and Dora the Explorer).

There's even channels dedicated to all things PAW Patrol, reality TV shows, the SpongeBob universe, Star Trek, all 40 seasons of Survivor, and The Challenge. Paramount+ will continue to roll out new playlists, including Movies and RuPaul's Drag Race channels—both launching later this month.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Paramount+ app, Live Channels joins the service's real-time sport and news offerings. Premium subscribers, meanwhile, can access their local live CBS station to watch seasonal specials and trending shows.

ViacomCBS launched its streaming service seven years ago as CBS All Access, later rebranding to Paramount+ in hopes of attracting filmgoers and international users with its "massive" content catalog and dual pricing tiers. A premium option costs $9.99 per month for live sports, around-the-clock news, and streaming entertainment. An ad-supported tier—which boasts fewer deluxe features but still includes news, sports, and plenty of content from the ViacomCBS vault—is priced at $4.99 a month. New customers can try Paramount+ free for 30 days using the promo code PEAKSALE through Dec. 31.
