Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (for Wii U)

This stage has Toad stow away on a rumbling train as it races through a blizzard at night. The cabins are filled with Biddy Bugs and Shy Guys, so Toad must be cautious as he explores the train and loots any hidden treasure.

This haunted stage has sliding doorways, hidden Boos and lots of Goombas to keep Toad on his toes. Though Toad can't crush Goombas like Mario can, he can still defeat them if he falls on them.

Despite the fact that Draggadon is a major boss, Toad must tackle this fire-breather like he would any other puzzle. The boss's fire sweeps across a wide area, so Toad must use cover and elevation to avoid getting burned, while also quickly nabbing any treasure in the room.

Much like in Super Mario 3D World, Goombas have a penchant for sunbathing. Captain Toad can easily outrun the Goombas in this puzzle, but they get in his way a lot. He can also use the pier to his advantage and plant a boot to their heads to clear the bridge.

Stumpers are peculiar walking tree-stumps that act like moving walls. Their spiky sides are dangerous to touch, but their heads are flat and safe to stand on. Players can use Stumpers as platforms to make progress or to get away from other enemies.

In this early stage, the temple bridge collapses when Toad attempts to cross it, forcing him to go through the temple the long way. The shuffling Walleye enemies can't be defeated, but players can tap on them with the Gamepad to stun them briefly.
