The new Deer Drive hunting sim is fun in the way that all arcade-style hunting games are fun: Gather a bunch of friends and beverages and see who can shoot the bucks without hitting the does. The game includes some nifty features like the Wii Zapper integration and the ability to swap your firearm for a better one, and there is even the occasional attacking bear or rampaging moose to contend with. But for all that, it's impossible to forget that this game is essentially a first-person shooter that doesn't let you move, look around much, or throw a grenade. It could be so much more. For instance, instead of the game simply ending when a bear gets too close, why not actually show it mauling the hunter?
