The Bottom Line

007 buffs who are also Wii devotees will enjoy stepping into the James Bond universe, but there are better first-person shooters for the Wii.

In one respect, the 007: Quantum of Solace game for the Wii closely mimics its movie namesake: It's forgettable for all but the most die-hard James Bond fans. The game play is typical of Wii first-person shooters, and you can use the Wii Zapper if you prefer a more gun-like control style. The game is full of graphics and control glitches, though. Another new Activision FPS, Call of Duty: World at War, pulls off a similar idea but with fewer glitches and much better visuals. If you like first-person shooters and have a Wii, pick up that game instead.
