While I like the idea of crafting a Wii game around drinking and party games, Game Party 2 Tournament is a bit of a buzzkill. The game is a collection of 11 mini games, including darts, lawn darts, puck bowling, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and even beer pong (sorry, "Ping Cup"), but the game play is terribly repetitive—for instance, bean-bag toss, horseshoes, and lawn darts are in every respect but the visuals the same game. The experienced Wii gamers I played the game with were repeatedly flummoxed by the controls, and we were dismayed that instead of using our Miis, we had to pick our avatars from a selection of frat-boy-looking guys. We also didn't like the fun-killing wait time between games and between turns. There are lots of mini-game packs out there, and I'd recommend picking up one of those instead. Or just buy a real dartboard.
