The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (for Nintendo 3DS)

Young Link, after returning to his time in Ocarina of Time, is accosted by the mysterious mask-wearing Skull Kid in the forest. Link chases him and falls into a deep hole, after which he finds himself in the land of Termina.

For those worried the updated graphics would ruin the creepy visuals of the game, fear not. The grinning moon looks just as horrifying in 3D with higher resolution textures as it did on the Nintendo 64, and the species mask change transitions are still screaming nightmare fuel. The game is still very dark.

It's different in structure from every other Legend of Zelda game, and Termina is both smaller and has fewer dungeons than Hyrule.

Combat and exploration largely focus around Z-targeting, holding the L button (it was the Z button on the Nintendo 64) to lock on to an enemy or object while Link navigates in 3D.

Things are looking bad for Termina, because each of its five areas are dealing with different problems and a giant, grimacing moon is going to strike the center of the land in just three days. And Tingle.

Termina is filled with side quests, and saving everyone in Termina quickly becomes a daunting process when you have to deal with dozens of characters' schedules across three days.
