Signing up for Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass gains you access to hundreds of games every month for just $9.99, but you can also earn rewards through Quests, and Microsoft just made it a lot easier to earn them.

Posting on Xbox Wire, Megan Spurr, community manager for Xbox Game Pass, has revealed what Microsoft is calling the "Next Chapter of Xbox Game Pass Quests." The Quests system presents Game Pass subscribers with a range of Quests they can choose to complete, for example, earning an achievement by playing a specific game. However, Quests were always a bit lacking, so Microsoft revamped the system.

There's now around 90 new Quests to attempt and rather than just being linked to specific games and achievements, you can complete them every day, week, or month simply by choosing to play Game Pass games or interacting with the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.

The main point of Xbox Game Pass Quests is to help subscribers discover new games they'd otherwise never play, but it's also a great way to generate more value out of a Game Pass subscription. The points you earn for completing Quests can be redeemed for Xbox gift cards or used to purchase games, movies, accessories, and in-game content.

As well as Quests linked to specific games, it's now possible to earn points daily by playing any Game Pass game or by logging into the mobile app. More points can be earned weekly by earning an achievement in any Game Pass console game, and there's also monthly points rewards for completing 45 daily Quests and 15 weekly Quests. If you're a regular Xbox gamer, the points are certainly going to add up quickly.
