Asus refreshed its gadget lineup at IFA today with its first wearable, the ZenWatch, as well as two new laptops: the Zenbook UX305 and EeeBook X205.

A follow-up to last year's IFA announcements, the new UX305 ultrabook (above) is the world's slimmest 13.3-inch QHD+ laptop, according to Asus, measuring in at just 12.3mm thin and 2.65 pounds.

Incorporating classic Zenbook DNA, the computer features a tapered wedge outside design, which houses a quad-HD 3,200-by-1,800 display.

The ultraportable laptop, which Asus Senior Product Director Derek Yu called "the perfect illustration of how strength and beauty come together," runs on the new Intel Core M processor and features a solid-state drive (SSD) up to 256GB.

Asus promised a 10-hour lifespan from a single battery charge.

But the new Zenbook also comes with a pretty face. Inspired by natural stone and ceramics, the laptop comes in two color options: obsidian stone black or ceramic alloy white.

Asus EeeBook X205Not to be outdone, Asus also unveiled its 11.6-inch EeeBook X205 (right), designed for students and young professionals.

Sporting Windows 8.1 and Connected Standby technology, users get an almost smartphone-like experience via the almost-instant resume feature, as well as always-connected social and email apps.

Most notably, the laptop includes a full-sized keyboard and 36 percent larger touchpad, making on-the-go usage even easier. Plus, its battery lasts for 12 hours of Web browsing, or a full 14 days in standby mode.

The EeeBook X205 will come in black, white, gold, and red. No launch date has been announced for either machine, but Asus did reveal a €199 ($262) price tag for its smaller EeeBook.

The hardware maker also unwrapped a new addition to its MeMO Pad family, as well as the ZenWatch. Stay tuned to PCMag.com for more.
