If you're in the market for a new gaming monitor, AOC is set to offer two new monitors with 0.5ms response times meaning no ghosting or screen tears.

As Windows Central reports, the two new gaming monitors are the AOC Agon AG271FZ2 27-inch and the AOC Agon AG251FZ2 24.5-inch. As well as that incredibly low response time, both displays include AMD FreeSync support and 240Hz refresh rates. The one feature that may make gamers pause for thought is the resolution, which is just 1080p. There's no 4K option.

Connectivity options include DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, DVI-D, and VGA inputs as well as a built-in 4-port USB 3.0 hub with one fast-charging port. Audio is catered for with a couple of 3-watt speakers, and the stand is height, swivel, and tilt adjustable.

AOC also includes a QuickSwitch Controller, which allows three customized game modes to be created and switched between quickly with the press of a button. Each mode can have brightness, contrast, and "essential gaming features" of the display preconfigured. Those gaming features include "Shadow Control," offering the ability to brighten or darken dark areas of the display depending on what visuals are present on-screen.

Both models can be pre-ordered, with the 27-inch priced at $379.99 and the smaller 24.5-inch at $329.99. If you use a Nvidia graphics card, it's probably worth waiting to see if AOC ensures they are FreeSync-compatible with your card.
