Sky's Ultimate On Demand package, which allowed streaming giant Netflix to be accessed directly from the Sky interface, is now available in the UK.

Customers will need a Sky Q set-top box to get this new feature, and than pay an extra £10 per month on top of your existing subscription.

As revealed in September, the new Netflix integration means that shows like Stranger Things and The Crown will now sit next to Westworld in Sky's guide. The app itself is accessible from the on demand tab.

For Sky Q customers that already have a subscription to Netflix, they will be able to move their accounts to the new pack, or sign in through the Netflix app in the Sky Q interface.

However, you won't immediately get the full 4K experience if you're using Netflix this way. Those that want to watch Netflix in 4K will also have to buy a Sky Q Experience subscription as well (for another £12 per month), and a 2TB box, in order to get that.

HDR content will also be unavailable; although it was supposed to be arriving earlier this year the company pushed the update back to 2019. As such, unless you're dedicated to using a single interface, you might still prefer swapping between your television's native Netflix app and your Sky Q box for full-fledged 4K HDR content.
