Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods last year gave the e-tailer a very quick, albeit expensive way of entering the food sales market through a chain of stores across the US. Since then, Amazon has been trying very hard to make every Whole Foods customer an Amazon Prime subscriber, with one of the better perks being Whole Foods Prime Delivery.

Prime Delivery is already available across 28 cities, but that number just increased to 38. Amazon added Whole Foods Prime Delivery to locations in Charlotte, Las Vegas, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Raleigh, Seattle, and Tucson. It means Prime subscribers can opt for free, two-hour deliveries between 8am and 10pm each day, which can save you a lot of food shopping hassle.

There's also some good news if you live in New York, LA, or Dallas/Fort Worth as Prime Delivery coverage has been expanded to more neighborhoods. They also now enjoy alcohol delivery, as do the newly added Charlotte, Raleigh, and Seattle. If you want to know if delivery is available in your area, Amazon suggests asking Alexa by stating, "Alexa, shop Whole Foods."

Additional benefits of having a Prime membership when shopping at Whole Foods include an extra 10 percent discount on select sale items, special in-store member deals, five percent back on purchases made using an Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card, and the option to cut your delivery time down to an hour, or pickup your order in just 30 minutes if your area supports that option.
