Nokia is attempting to make low-tech phones cool again with the launch of three colorful, sleek 4G feature phones.
The Nokia 215 4G, 225 4G, and 235 4G won’t be able to access the latest apps or even take the best pictures, but they will serve as a fashion-forward accessory for those looking to break their smartphone addiction.
The Nokia 235 4G comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display, along with 128MB of storage and 64MB of RAM. You’ll be able to add up to 32GB of storage through a microSD slot. It runs on the T107 processor and the S30+ operating system. The phone comes with a 2MP rear camera, but there’s nothing in front for taking selfies.
There is an MP3 player and FM radio on board for listening to music, and you’ll be able to connect your wireless headphones via Bluetooth 5.0. Nokia’s classic phone game Snake is on the phone, as are its Cloud Apps, which brings news, weather, and YouTube Shorts to the phone. Other than that, you won’t have much connection to any app ecosystem. The phone comes in purple, light blue, and black and will not be available in the US for now.
The Nokia 225 4G comes with many of the same features of the Nokia 235, including the T107 processor and the S30+ operating system, along with 128MB of storage and 64MB of RAM and the ability to add up to 32GB of storage through a microSD slot. The display is smaller on the 225 at 2.4 inches instead of 2.8, while the camera offers only VGA specifications. The phone still has access to Nokia’s Cloud Apps, as well as the Snake game. It comes in pink and blue and its price and availability varies by region.
The 215 4G also comes with a 2.8-inch screen, but lacks a camera of any kind. Otherwise, it is exactly the same as the 225 and 235. The 215 4G comes in blue, peach, and a greenish/gray and its price and availability also varies by region.
