Fall shopping is off to a hot start with a crazy number of deals coming fast and furious with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. I may or may not have a mild shopping addiction, and this is the time of year when it comes out in full force. One of the more intriguing sales I found is for a product that I think most people forget about or overlook, and that's Bluetooth trackers—specifically, Apple AirTags, our Editors' Choice. A four-pack is on sale now for just $64.99, a 35% discount from its usual price. I know the AirTag isn't the most compelling tech product, but it could very well be one of the most useful. At least it is for me.

You see, I lose things. A lot. Do I have ADHD? It's possible. Whether there's a clinical reason or it's just normal absentmindedness, the fact remains that I need help finding my stuff. I'm constantly searching for smaller items like my keys, my phone, and my video game controllers. I also sometimes misplace my backpack or small tote bag.

This is where AirTags come in handy. All I have to do is attach one to whatever it is I don't want to lose—and then never have to worry about it again. AirTags work with Apple's Find My feature to pinpoint their exact location on a map. Each one can even play a sound on its built-in speaker to help guide you to the right spot. AirTags are about an inch and a quarter in diameter and just three-tenths of an inch thick. They're ideal for keychains, pockets, bags, suitcases, and other gear. They're water-resistant to the point where rain isn't a problem. And setting them up is easy; you just hold it near your iPhone or iPad, and it will be detected and added to the Find My app.

The only downside of AirTags is that they're normally expensive. They are an Apple product, after all. But that's why this deal is particularly exciting. This pack of four AirTags is currently matching an all-time Amazon low price for the product and one that hasn't been seen in seven months.

I just got a new purse that came with a built-in AirTag holder. I haven't lost it yet, but now's the time to make sure I never do.

My Experience

I’m a mobile writer at PCMag, which means I cover wireless phones, plans, tablets, ereaders, and a whole lot more. I’ve written countless reviews and have appeared in numerous videos discussing the latest technology. I’ve always loved it and have been forming opinions on consumer electronics since childhood. Prior to joining PCMag, I covered TVs and home entertainment at CNET, served as the tech and electronics reviews fellow at Insider, and began my career by writing laptop reviews as an intern at Tom's Hardware. I am also a professional actor with credits in film, television, and theater, and membership in both SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association.

The Technology I Use

I’ve been an Apple fan for a long time. I use an iPhone 14 Pro, and I don’t plan to upgrade any time soon. I like to hold on to my phones for a few years. Maybe I'll upgrade if Apple sells a flip phone.

I use two different Apple computers in my daily life. I recently bought a maxed-out 15-inch MacBook Air for work and other activities. Despite my brand-new computer, I can’t quit using my 2012 MacBook Pro. It still works flawlessly and houses my large collection of ebooks. When traveling, I often use my 10.5-inch iPad Pro and Logitech keyboard case for streaming television and light internet use.

But my favorite piece of tech is my Kindle Paperwhite. I use it every day and it comes with me wherever I go. I read both physical and digital books, but the Paperwhite is currently my favorite ereader.
