Netflix has spent 2025 rethinking its gaming strategy, focusing on party titles to play on your TV and now daily puzzle games for your smartphone. Netflix wants you to add these games into your daily rotation alongside titles like Wordle.

Netflix Puzzled is now available on both Android and iOS, plus you can play through a web browser on the Tudum website. However, you can’t play these titles on Netflix’s TV apps.

It includes eight different daily puzzles: four word games, two logic titles, and two visual problem solvers. The games are all playable offline, meaning you can download them ahead of a commute or plane journey.

You’ll need a Netflix subscription to be able to play, but they’re available without any in-game ads. That's unless you count tie-ins with Netflix TV series and movies, such as puzzles themed around K-Pop Demon Hunters or Stranger Things.

The only classic game here is a daily Sudoku, with the other seven titles offering tutorials to teach you their rules.. The word games include Crossover, which is a reimagining of a crossword where you flip tiles to find the correct letters, Keysmash where you fit vowels into words made of consonants, and Bonza that asks you to merge pieces to make a crossword-like structure.

There's also a game called Waywords which acts like a word search where you also need to create a path to the puzzle's end.

Starstruck is a logic game, which Netflix calls sudoku for those "who don't vibe with numbers." You need to place stars into a grid so there's only one icon in each row, column, and colored area.

There are also two visual puzzles: the self-explanatory Jigsaw, and Shapes, a game where you rotate individual pieces to make a picture.

The brand is also launching themed versions of each of these games tied to Netflix’s biggest franchises from 2025. Stranger Things season five is the big push with a new series of eight puzzles it encourages fans to complete ahead of the show's finale on Dec. 31.

Other games are themed around Black Mirror, Emily in Paris, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Heartstopper, Our Planet II, and Squid Game.
