Amazon Prime subscribers in the US can now sign up for a one-year gratis Grubhub+ membership trial, complete with free delivery on eligible orders, exclusive rewards, and charity donation matching.

Post-pandemic, more people are enjoying the perks of getting their meals delivered, but not everyone has joined the third-party-takeout-app movement. Enter a partnership between Amazon and Grubhub owner Just Eat Takeaway.com.

"Both Grubhub and Amazon have transformed people's lives by providing them with unprecedented choice and convenience," Ariella Kurshan, senior VP of growth at Grubhub, said in a statement. "I'm thrilled that new Grubhub diners from Amazon can get even more delivered to their door with their Prime membership."

Visit amazon.com/grubhub to activate your free Grubhub+ subscription—a $9.99-per-month value. Membership comes with unlimited $0 delivery fees (on orders of $12 or more [before tax, tip, and other fees]), access to free food and order discounts, and donation matching through Grubhub's Donate the Change program.

Existing Grubhub+ users, meanwhile, can sign in to or sign up for Prime or Prime Student to activate this offer. Just don't forget to cancel after a year or Grubhub will automatically charge your account. Terminating an Amazon Prime membership will also end the Grubhub+ subscription.

"Being able to give Prime members one year of Grubhub+ and no delivery fees from restaurants is our way of saying 'thank you,'" Amazon Prime Vice President Jamil Ghani said. "The value of a Prime membership continues to grow with this offer, and this year is shaping up to be a great time to enjoy the convenience, savings, fun—and deliciousness—that membership provides."
