Last year, Ubiusoft expanded its Uplay service to offer a $14.99 subscription for PC gamers called Uplay Plus. Just like Xbox Game Pass, it offered access to 100+ Ubisoft games for a flat fee every month. Now that subscription is being renamed and adding cloud streaming.

As The Verge reports, from Nov. 10 Uplay Plus will be known as Ubisoft Plus. As it offers access to all Ubisoft titles, signing up now means you'll unlock access to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Immortals Fenyx Rising as they become available. But Ubisoft is also making Ubisoft Plus better value for money in another way.

As well as offering access to games on PC, it will be possible to stream titles through Google's Stadia service and Amazon's recently announced Luna streaming service. Support for Luna is expected to arrive in November, with Stadia being added to the subscription before the end of 2020. It means that Ubisoft Plus isn't limited to a PC with enough performance to run the games as you can instead stream them on a number of low power devices.

Ubisoft intends to add "cross-progression" to some of its games, which means progress should be saved regardless of which platform you choose to play on. It also means you can start playing a game via Stadia, then switch to your gaming PC and pick up where you left off. Of course, the one missing piece of this puzzle is access to Plus on consoles. It's not happening anytime soon, but Alexia Brumé, associate director, subscription at Ubisoft, said, "We’re not closing any opportunities in terms of where this will take us, but it’s just that this [Stadia and Luna support] is what we’ve been working on so far."
