Why buy an Xbox One X when you can instead buy some food and enter to win an exclusive, limited edition platinum-colored One X complete with unique powered on sound?

That's exactly what Taco Bell and Microsoft are offering for the next month or so. All you have to do is visit Taco Bell and purchase a $5 Double Chalupa Box. The box contains a Double Chalupa, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a Medium Drink. You also get a code which may have won you the console.

If you do win one, you better enjoy listening to the Taco Bell ring sound because it will play every time the Xbox One X is powered on. As well as the console you'll get a white Special Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Controller and three months of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.

The promotion starts tomorrow, Oct. 18 and runs through to Nov. 21. Microsoft has made quite a few of these platinum Xbox One X consoles as it intends to give one away every 10 minutes through this promotion. It won't take long to get one, either. Each Xbox will be delivered to a winner within 72 hours after your code has been confirmed. Impressive.

If you decide to enter this promotion every day by buying a $5 Double Chalupa Box for lunch, it will cost you a total of $175 assuming you don't win. That's less than half the price of an Xbox One X, but you could also view it as losing $175 towards the cost of buying the console. It's also worth pointing out each Double Chalupa Box contains 940 calories, 54 grams of fat, 6 grams of sugar, and 1.67 grams of salt.
