Voila (for Mac): Multiple Selections

In addition to bundling its own integrated web browser, Volia also supports multiple simultaneous screencaps.

Voila (for Mac): Annotation Tools

Voila includes a bevy of annotation tools, including arrows, text boxes, and a blur tool. Here I have used the eraser to remove some of the ads beneath one of my reviews. Don’t worry, you can still find them on the site.

Voila (for Mac): Special Effects

Voila also bundles a number of effects that you can apply to screencaps. I particularly like the blur effect, shown here.

Voila (for Mac): Video Capture

If you want to create a tutorial, Voila will allow you to capture either a selection or your entire screen. You can even capture audio via your Mac’s built-in mic.

Voila (for Mac): Edit Elsewhere

When it comes to editing video captures, however, you may want to look elsewhere. I found that I couldn’t do much save trim video clips.
