Pros & Cons

Based on standards from national teachers' councils, these titles are keyed to school curricula. Kids do activities ranging from puzzles and brain teasers to reading and math, using any of seven different learning styles.

In Preschool, kids care for pets using rewards they earn in activities such as matching shapes, rhymes, and pictures. In the Kindergarten schoolhouse, they play with words, addition, subtraction, logic, art, and music. 1st Grade hosts a scooter tournament where kids apply learning skills to build a speedy racer. And in 2nd Grade, they put on their thinking caps as secret agents. Success unlocks higher levels of game play. Kids might need more help than we found online for 2nd Grade, but instruction is solid, and other titles in the series offer better assistance.
