SpiderOak's Semaphor offers snappy, secure messaging capabilities for teams, but it does not support integrations, audio or video calls, nor does it offer much in the way of customization options.

Desktop App

Semaphor sports a primarily white and gray interface with blue accents. It's clean and minimalist, but I wish you could change the theme.

Recovery Key

Semaphor's recovery key is the only way to recover your data if you lose access to your devices. Make sure to write it down.

Add Team Members

You can get team members to join you on Semaphor either via direct invite or by sending them the team key.

Profiles

Channels Admins can upgrade members' privileges or ban them entirely. Semaphor also lets you add a profile picture and a short bio.

Direct Messages

All of Semaphor's features and functionality are available on its Android and iOS apps.
