It's not uncommon to experience wrist and lower arm pain after spending years sitting at a desk holding and clicking a computer mouse. If you suffer with such pain or discomfort, an ergonomic mouse could be the cure, and Logitech just launched its most advanced ergonomic rodent yet.

It's called the Logitech MX Vertical, and it's meant to be "an ergonomic mouse that feels more natural" while providing 10 percent less muscle strain, reduced wrist pressure, and four times less hand movement.

The research that went into developing this mouse also revealed that the ideal vertical angle for reducing muscle strain is 57 degrees, which also happens to be the natural handshake position according to Logitech.

The sensor inside the MX Vertical is 4,000DPI for high precision, with the cursor speed and accuracy customizable with a button press. The scroll wheel retains the common middle-click functionality, and Logitech Flow allows pairing and switching between three devices so your mouse goes with you from device to device.

Three forms of connectivity are offered, allowing you to connect using the USB-C charging cable, Logitech's unifying receiver, or over Bluetooth. As for charging, a one-minute quick charge allows for three hours of use, whereas a full charge of the 240mAh lithium-polymer battery offers up to four months of use.

The MX Vertical costs $99.99 and for that you get the mouse, a unifying receiver, and a USB-C charging cable in the box. Shipping is free from Logitech directly, but orders won't ship until September, at which point retail stores will also get stock.
