The new Fire TV Cube looks the same as the original, but with a new six-core processor, it's a lot more powerful. Once again, it features far-field voice recognition with eight microphones for hands-free interaction. And with Local Voice Control, common commands are processed faster because the information doesn't have to be sent to the cloud.

While currently only available in Austria and Germany, the Grundig OLED Fire TV Edition features an array of microphones so you can control it with your voice. Using even touching a remote, you can change channels on live TV, navigate between screens, increase or decrease the volume, and more. It comes in 55- and 65-inch models.

The 32-inch Roku Smart Soundbar is a 2.0-channel soundbar and a 4K Roku media streamer in one. The speaker comes with Dolby Audio and can be plugged into any TV that has an ARC HDMI port or an optical audio output. As for streaming, it packs the same features you get in the Roku Premiere+.

With a cleaner, more modern design than last year's 8- and 10-inch models, the Lenovo Smart Display 7 is a smart display you'll actually want to show off in your house. Thanks to its reduced footprint, it's compact enough to place on the kitchen counter or nightstand without taking up too much space. But while it may be small, the Smart Display 7 packs a ton of functionality. Aside from streaming videos and music, Google Assistant integration makes it easy to get plenty done via voice commands like checking the weather, setting reminders, or controlling other smart home devices.

Imagine never having to go to the dry cleaner again. Samsung's AirDresser uses a Jet Air System and Air Hangers to sanitize and remove dust from your clothing. While this happens, a dust filter captures all the particles floating in the air to keep both your clothes and the dresser clean. It also comes with a deodorizing filter that removes odors and leaves your garments smelling fresh. After it's done cleaning, the AirDresser then dries them at a low temperature to reduce shrinkage. Its Crystal Mirror design also blends in nicely with other bedroom furniture.

While Edison-style bulbs can add a nice touch of industrial chic to your home, they can also get too bright for comfort. The new Philips Hue filament bulbs, however, feature adjustable brightness you can control from your phone. They come in three different styles and can be paired with a Hue Bridge for additional features and control.

Hot on the heels of the Roborock S5, the S5 Max robot vacuum has a bit more to offer, including Selective Room Mopping and No Mop Zones. It also comes with a mechanically sprung mop pad that applies constant pressure on floors and tiles for a deeper clean.

The Eve Water Guard can help prevent water damage in your home before it gets really bad. When water touches its sensor cable, a high-pitched alarm goes off and it sends a notification to your phone. Since the entire cable is a sensor, you can extend its reach up to 59 feet.

Netatmo's Smart Door and Window Sensors (pictured at right) come with an accelerometer and magnetometer that recognize certain types of movement, and can tell the difference between someone knocking on the door and breaking in. They also have a compass that can determine if a door or window is opening or closing. You'll receive a notification if it detects movement in a specific location, like the kitchen window.

In addition to smart home devices, we saw lots of other cool new tech at IFA. These are the best new gadgets we found at the show, setting the stage for the rest of 2019 and beyond.
