Boss Upgrades
Finishing off a boss robot rewards Mega Man with a new weapon, which can be used to counter other bosses’ attacks and stage hazards. Fuse Man's weapon fires electrical orbs that trail along the ground and walls.
Clearing Obstacles
Stages are littered with obstacles to avoid or shoot. Some are nonthreatening, like the crumbling blocks in Block Man's stage. Others are highly dangerous, like the electric barricades in Impact Man's stage.
Great Visuals
Mega Man 11 uses 3D models with cartoon-like shading to create a game that looks wonderfully 2D in action. The exaggerated anime-style aesthetic works well with the graphical style.
Hazards And Platforms
You will come across many rooms filled with tricky platform
jumps and obnoxious enemies or traps that get in your way. Tundra Man's stage
has ice covering all surfaces, which makes avoiding enemy fire much more
difficult.
Puzzle Platforming
Most stages utilize a gimmick of some sort and will make liberal use of it. Impact Man's stage, for example, is filled with explosive walls and platforms, which enemies will detonate if you don't dispatch them quickly.
