Pros & Cons

The SCOTTeVEST Solar SeV Finetex System attaches to the back of some of the company's multipocket jackets. Sunlight (or a strong lamp) charges the included battery; you then plug your gadgets into that via USB. We found the panel and jacket surprisingly unobtrusive to wear. But the panel charges only in strong light, so getting a full charge takes a while. It's fun for early adopters, but the rest of us will probably stick with wall outlets for now.
