A strong focus on privacy is online backup service SpiderOak ONE's biggest appeal, and it's highly customizable, too. It's not cheap, however, and its mobile apps need work.

Desktop Interface

SpiderOak ONE's desktop app is well-designed and uses distinctive blue accents. It divides functionality across five main tabs: Dashboard, Backup, Manage, Sync, and Share.

Backup Settings

You can select files for your backup via SpiderOak ONE's built-in file browser.

Versions

To see all saved versions of a file, highlight it in the Manage tab. You can also download files directly from this tab.

ShareRooms

Sharing files and folders in SpiderOak ONE uses an unintuitive system called ShareRooms. Alternatively, you can right-click on files to generate sharing links.

Mobile App

From the mobile app, you can view and download your files, but unfortunately, you can not back up any data from the device itself.
