Many Wi-Fi digital picture frames play videos, present the weather, and even let you browse the Web. Not the PF Digital eStarling Impact8 Connected Wireless Digital Photo Frame. But the Impact8's limited feature set translates to an attractive price $169.99 (direct), and that's hard to argue with in these tough economic times. Furthermore, without a bunch of advanced features for you to worry about, the Impact8's setup is a snap. If all you care about is displaying your pictures, this is a solid choice.

The 6.3-by-8.7-by-1.1-inch (HWD) frame surrounds an 8-inch, 800-by-600-pixel LCD. The screen, although glossy, doesn't reflect as much as the displays in some other frames I've tested, such as the Sony VGF-CP1 and SmartParts SPX8WF. Still, you'll want to keep the Impact8 away from bright light sources. You can navigate the menu using touch-sensitive backlit controls to the right of the LCD or with the clearly labeled compact remote, which slides into the rear of the frame.
