Christmas is almost upon us, and there are plenty of great mobile deals to check out at the moment.

Starting up a new contract around the holidays is normally a good idea, as it can act as a festive alarm clock for when you can next upgrade.

Not only that, but there are always some incredible deals popping up in and around December, so you should definitely find a great deal the next time you can change handsets.

Whether it’s a cheap pay monthly deal, free gifts, or generous cashback, we’ve got all the best deals you can find on mobile phone contracts for Christmas 2019.

TL;DR - Our Picks

Best Apple iPhone Deals

T-Mobile is bigger and better than ever. Take a look at the carrier's top-rated phones, including the ones you need to access the fastest network speeds.

The latest iPhone 11 deals are something to behold, and the iPhone 11 leads the way in terms of overall design and affordability. Until the 5G iPhone releases in late 2020, these devices are the best you can get.

The top deal here is definitely the £33 per month contract with EE. This big data offer includes 50GB of downloads, with only £89 to pay upfront with the code PCMAG10.

Best Samsung Galaxy Deals

Will You Upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S10? Most Users Say No

With rumours of the Galaxy S11 continuing to circulate, it isn't exactly surprising that we're seeing Galaxy S10 contracts plummet in price. It's likely retailers will continue to push the device as much as possible before any new launches.

Samsung is also currently offering a great cashback offer on a number of its products. This includes a £100 reward on Galaxy S10e contracts, making the budget-friendly device even more affordable. This brings the overall cost of the smartphone down to just £600.

Best Google Pixel Deals

The Pixel 4 is the most recent release in this lineup, but there are still some very good offers out there on the handset.

It's not hard to pick up the Pixel 4 with a healthly amount of data for around £29 per month at the moment. Contracts with O2 and EE are highlights during the festive period, with both providers offering superb deals on the handset, alongside its larger brother the Pixel 4 XL.

To top off these deals, Mobiles.co.uk are currently offering a free Google Home Hub, worth £59, with pay monthly contracts on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

My Experience

I’ve been freelancing as a tech journalist for several years now, after long wanting to write about my passion for video games. I have bylines on Kotaku and other sites, but PCMag is where you can find most of my musings on gaming, its culture, and where the industry is going next. I also test online services for both businesses and individuals. If you’re interested in hearing me talk about entertainment, film, and TV, you can check out my Patreon and Substack, both under the name “Robby Knows.”

The Technology I Use

Most of the tech I use every day is within the Apple ecosystem. Currently, I rely on a 2025 MacBook Air for computing and dabble in art projects on my 6th-generation iPad Mini. I don't go anywhere without my AirPods Pro 2 in my pocket.

As an avid gamer, you better believe that I always have a controller in my hands if I’m not watching movies or TV. I use my PS5 and Switch 2 equally, depending on what’s the hot new release, and am always trying to find interesting ways to tinker with my Steam Deck.

Given the current state of social media and technology, I find myself going more analog to escape the noise. I have a modest collection of watches, both automatic and digital, to free myself from the pings and notifications of the modern world. I also put my phone in a ySky lockbox for 12 hours every night to reduce my screen time. I spent a lot of the past year trying to read good books rather than scroll through feeds.
