Candy Box is (almost) as basic as computer games can get, and yet it's an addictive, fun RPG experience. Why not give it a shot and see how much you can discover, if you're not scared of ASCII art?

What is this, Candy?

Candy Box starts out rather innocently. If you don't know what to do, just be patient! (There aren't heavy spoilers in the next slides, but if you want a completely spoiler-free experience, just play the game).

Meet the Candy Man

A wild Candy Man appears! Suddenly, we have a vendor, and we can buy lollipops from him, the second currency in the game. Wait a little longer, and you can get a wooden sword. He'll supply our adventures.

Epic Quest Time?

Now that you have a sword, you can go on a proper quest. Try the Peaceful Forest. Make sure you don't get slain by the trees.

A Full-fledged Inventory

The game will keep on expanding and including new elements - it's quite addictive. All you have to do is keep it open in your browser window and go on quests.
