Pros & Cons

    • Ambidextrous.
    • Customizable with 16.8 million color-lighting options.
    • Plenty of programmable buttons.
    • Razer's Synapse software is easy to use.
    • Uncomfortable to use.
    • Slightly too narrow.

A samurai warrior believed the sword was an extension of his arm. The Razer Diamondback Precision Gaming Mouse feels just as natural in either hand, thanks to an ambidextrous design, and the 1,600-dpi optical resolution is about as sensitive as mice get. Teflon feet let the Diamondback glide with Zen-like motion across a variety of surfaces, and large buttons ensure that you'll always be quick on the trigger. A couple more buttons would be ideal for general use, but this mouse isn't really designed for word processing or Web surfing. You don't use a samurai sword for gardening, after all.
