Sentiment Analysis

Mention (whose Company plan begins at $299 per month) is a social media analytics tools with an intuitively designed user interface (UI). I tested this plan and found its analytics graphs logically presented, making it easy to negotiate any learning curve a new app can present. Stacked up against other social listening and influencer identification tools, Mention is simple, easy to set up, and relatively cheap. But it can't match alternatives such as our Editors' Choice Sprout Social for its robust analytics metrics, wider selection of social media platforms, and small to midsize business (SMB) tooling arsenal.

Pricing and Features

Mention's Starter plan begins at $29 per month and will only give you minimal exposure to the tool. The Growth plan, which begins at $99 per month, is the first level with enough horsepower and functionality for the SMB market. I tested the Company plan because it was the first level that provided me with data export, which most SMBs will want. Sprout Social, which begins at $99 per month, is a better deal than Mention or Klear Advanced because it monitors more social sources than the other two, plus it gives you data export. Mention's Enterprise plan (which begins at $799 per month) provides everything the Company plan does, with more mentions and three times as many users.
