Seven Tesla Supercharger stalls went up in flames near Boston on Monday night in what appears to be a deliberate attack.

Police responded to The Point Shopping Center in Littleton, Massachusetts, and found the station "engulfed in flames and heavy, dark smoke." No customers were charging at the time, and Tesla plans to replace the chargers in less than 48 hours, the company tweeted last night.

The attack is "suspicious in nature," according to police. It's unclear how the stations were set on fire, given their hard plastic exterior. One of them went up in flames after police arrived while they were waiting for the electric department to arrive, the police report says.

There were no injuries, and the investigation is ongoing. But it comes at a time when Tesla CEO Elon Musk is facing pushback from some Americans regarding his work with the Trump admin's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Protestors have shown up at Tesla showrooms (and SpaceX headquarters) to voice their opposition to the cuts Musk's team is making. Nine people were arrested in New York City on Saturday, Reuters reports.

Colorado has seen four attacks on Tesla infrastructure in 2025, including an attempt last week to burn down a Tesla dealership, NBC reports. Cybertruck vandalism has also been an issue nationwide, Carscoops reports, in addition to the January incident in which a man intentionally blew up a Cybertruck outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas

In Europe, left-wing extremists claimed responsibility for an arson attack on a Tesla plant outside Berlin, according to Germany-based publication t-online. Police were already investigating an incident at that plant after an oversized image of Musk making a Nazi salute was projected on the factory wall, which is illegal in Germany. Musk is a vocal supporter of Germany's far-right movement Afd.

In France, arsonists set fire to a dozen Teslas at a dealership in Tolouse, which could be related to radical anti-capitalist groups as well, according to French outlet numerama.
