Tesla's German gigafactory opened on March 22, and now we can see it in action thanks to drone footage captured inside the facility.
The gigafactory is currently producing Model Y EVs and has so far employed 3,000 people, with a total of 12,000 jobs expected to be created there. The site is huge (roughly 1.2 square miles), and it needs to be in order to achieve a goal of producing 500,000 electric vehicles every year by 2025.

As Electrek reports, the drone was expertly controlled by commercial drone pilot Ferdinand Wolf who works at Skynamic. A separate video was posted on the Skynamic Instagram account capturing a dancing Elon Musk at the launch event for the gigafactory.
Although not an ad for Tesla's vehicles, other car manufacturers may want to take note. A fly-through of your production facilities does as much, if not more, to promote your products than an expensive TV ad showing a single vehicle from lots of different angles ever could.
