The Hudly portable head-up display (HUD) is ideal for projecting navigation directions and other info from your smartphone while driving.

Hudly is portable all-in-one head-up display. It has an adhesive base that attaches to your car's dashboard but is also easy to remove.

Setup

Setting up Hudly is simple. After connecting to it as a Wi-Fi hotspot, just mirror your phone's display on the device and you're done.

Hudly projects maps, directions, and other info in a large, clear format that's a step up from just sticking your phone on the dash with a mount.

We tested Hudly with an iPhone 6s and apps such as Apple Maps, Waze, and Speedometer (shown here).

While Hudly's projection panel is transparent, we felt that the device itself could appear too prominently in our view while driving.
