Pros & Cons

The VXI BlueParrott B100 base station/headset charger plugs into your phone and power lines; the cordless Bluetooth headset, equipped with a boom microphone and a single earpiece, has two volume-control buttons and a multifunction button for setup and answering. The price is relatively low, but in quality tests, parties called reported that the sound was muffled, compared with both a VTech 5.8-GHz cordless phone and a wired phone. The B100 claims a range of up to 75 feet, but in our tests, the signal started breaking up at 45 feet.
