Microsoft’s Copilot AI chatbot is now available as a standalone app on Android.

Copilot was previously available for Android through the Bing mobile app; however, Microsoft quietly launched a dedicated Android app last week, Neowin reports.

Initially spotted by @techosarusrex, who posted a screenshot on X, the app is similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT; ask questions, create images, and request content directly on your smartphone. But it also gives users access to the latest GPT-4 models, which is limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers on OpenAI’s solution, The Verge notes.

Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot last month. Bing Chat originally launched earlier this year within the Bing search engine, where it can also still be accessed.

Copilot also has a dedicated web interface where users can interact with the bot on their desktop computer. The AI experience is also available for Windows 11 and Windows 10 PCs.

For now, iOS users can access Copilot through the Bing app.
