Microsoft's Xbox Beta app for Windows 10 is available to download now via the Windows Store.

Windows 10 Bug ArtThe program allows select users to preview future app updates and provide input on enhancements before they reach the public.

The app has thus far earned a 4.7 out of five stars and more than 40 positive reviews. "Love the way all these new features are bringing the app in par with the console," Kenneth Yaw wrote on Tuesday. "Makes you feel close to your console and friends even when not at home. Loving every bit of this and thanks to Microsoft Xbox for the hard work."

Some folks, however, have complained about a bug that leaves them "stuck at the green loading screen" that shows only the beta logo.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Gamers who didn't make the cut for Redmond's Xbox One preview program may want to try the Windows 10 app instead. It's intended to help gamers stay connected to the Xbox Live community while on the go with access to activity feeds, messages, game clips, friends, and more across Windows 10 devices.

You don't have to be a preview member to leave feedback for the Xbox.com website, which recently got a few updates of its own. You can now listen to voice messages on Xbox.com and show demos in search results.

This all comes ahead of what Microsoft claims is the biggest Xbox software update yet. In November, the company will introduce a "completely re-imagined Xbox One, inspired by your feedback, [which] brings the fastest and most social Xbox experience yet."
