Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream

The Mirage Solo looks very clean and friendly, with a white-and-gray plastic shell and a glossy black faceplate with two eye-like cameras.

The visor is rounded, with smooth walls similar to the profile of the Google Daydream View, but without the fabric cover.

Lenovo uses an adjustable one-piece plastic strap for the headband, similar to the PlayStation VR. The headband itself is a flexible length of gray plastic that measures just under an inch wide, with well-padded arches on the front and back.

For motion-tracking technology, the Mirage Solo features the standard complement of gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer, combined with two forward-facing six-degrees-of-freedom tracking cameras similar to those used with Windows Mixed Reality headsets. This is still a VR headset, not AR, so there is no built-in way to look out through the cameras; they're strictly for position tracking.

The Mirage Solo includes the same Daydream Controller used with the Daydream View. It's a short gray plastic wand with a circular touchpad and Back and Home buttons on the top.

The left side of the visor holds a USB-C connector for charging and a microSD card slot behind a small plastic door.

The right side of the visor holds a power button with an indicator light, volume buttons, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for use with the included short-corded earphones.

A mechanical button on the left edge of the bottom of the visor unlocks the sliding mount on the headband, letting you move the lenses closer to or away from your face.
